Okay,I have a 72 comet GT im working on,and the gas tank is missing.It Mounts Under the car,instead of in the trunk.My parts car(70 maverick)Mounts in the trunk,so it dosent help me any.Does anyone know when they started mounting them under the trunk???Or is this just a difference between the MAverick and comet.Anyone have any idea???????Thanks...
