After my last experience with glass, it's the one part on a car that i would never touch. Also, the professionals use rust-preventer/sealant that isn't readily available to my knowledge. Just have them do it, they'll do an on-site installation free.
: : for the glass, go to a salvage yard and find some out of a mav or comet. The yard where i live wants $65 for the windshield and $35 for the back window, which i'll probably be buying since someone broke both out on my mav.
