As far as I'm concerned, it wouldn't be any less safe than any other convertable as long as subframe connectors are used...
: I did chop a mav top once. it was already stripped to the core and I thougt "I wonder what a conv... mav would look like".. the body lines are PERFECT! of course the saftey thing comes in to play but then again looking cool is always high on my list and saftey has been known to take the back seat in these odd instances
