I did the swap on my 72. If you don't change the master cylinder, at least punch out the hold off valve. This valve does not let the brake fluid return back to the master and cause a low brake pedal just like having the brake shoe way out of adjustment. This alleviates the long pusrod problem. I removed the factory proportiong valve and installed a adjustable unit to compensate for the large rear tires that I installed. It really helps with tire lock up problems.

: I have a 73 grabber that Im fixing up. I Have replaced all of the front suspenison. I have installed the spindles, rotors, calipers from a 76 mav.I had to remount the brake lines and now i believe the gas line is not going to work.Is this true? Also do the disc have to be power?I do not have a brake booster if they dont have to be power can i use the master cyl. from the old drum brakes?
