FROM DRUM TO DISC

I have a 73 grabber that Im fixing up. I Have replaced all of the front suspenison. I have installed the spindles,rotors,calipers from a 76 mav.I had to remount the brake lines and now i believe the gas line is not going to work.Is this true?Also do the disc have to be power?I do not have a brake booster if they dont have to be power can i use the master cyl. from the old drum brakes?
