I have a 72 Grabber that I just(over Thanksgiving) put the disc breaks out of a 74 with manual disc. It is a straight drop in. The 74 manual disc's use the same master cyl. and proportional valve as 70-74 manual drums. It is the easyest swap ever. The spindles are the only thing you need from the doner car. The rotor's, caliper's, hose's, shoe's and bearings can all be purchased from your local auto parts store and I recomend getting these parts all new. The spindles will even bolt right up to your upper and lower ball joints.

: I have a 73 grabber that Im fixing up. I Have replaced all of the front suspenison. I have installed the spindles, rotors, calipers from a 76 mav.I had to remount the brake lines and now i believe the gas line is not going to work.Is this true? Also do the disc have to be power?I do not have a brake booster if they dont have to be power can i use the master cyl. from the old drum brakes?
