I have a 1976 ford Maverick - I got it from a Junkyard here in Corvallis, OR - it was running and wasn't that bad of - 2 wks later I had to get a new carb but it was a lot better fixing this car up than the 86 escort wagon I had -
Well any way I have some questions
1 - I want to raise the back up to eventually put on some fat wheels
can I just lift the rear with airshocks and do I put leaf spring helpers on with or without that -
2 - what is the best kind of tires for a maverick
3 - can you turn a single exhaust to a dual exhaust on a 250 6 cylider
engine
And just to let anyone reading this know thank you ahead of time for all the help and it is nice to have a web site dedicated to mavericks
I'll be visiting very often so If you see me more than you want to know - get used to it - becasue I want to fully restore this car and make it my own personalized car
