There is NO way to ever be sure when you are buying a car!!! Trust me, my father was in the car business for 20 years. I did my time as well.
As to the milage, I would not be suprised. As you will read on this board most of these cars are below 100,000. Now as to the price... well if it checks out with a mechanic, there is little to no rust and it drives and feels good, and doesn't smoke! Then that would be a very good price. Now I know alot of the true guru's on this page would disagree, but the truth of the matter is this. Any car that has less then 75,000 miles and runs well is worth at least $1500 (retail)for the use of a dependable daily driver.
