Anyone wanna pitch in on this one? I'm in the process of porting my 289 heads, and need to know which headers would be best. I found some 1 5/8 Hedman's, HTC coated for $350, or some other ones that are 1 1/2 HTC coated for $260. Will the 1/8 inch make that big of a difference? Does anyone think that the HTC ceramic coating will make up the difference in scavengability.
