Eric I have 2 chamber 2 1/2" flow masters on my Grabber and I live in So Cal and have never been stopped for it or asked about the exhaust note when I've been stopped for allegedly speeding(never admit anything!). My exhaust is long tube headers with a 3" collector, 2 1/2" pipes with a 2" cross over and 2 1/2" flow masters under the back seats with turn downs on the exit side. They are much louder than the 2" set up I used to have but it's that good loud. At highway speed you can not even hear the exhaust over the wind noise, accept when your next to the center construction barrier's then it sounds very cool.
BTW where in CA do you live and are you comming to the Fabulous Fords Forever Club meet at Notts Berry Farms on April 9, 2000, I am going to host a IMCC Mini Meet there, everbody else is invited too!
: I am undecided on which muffler to use , a 2 chamber Flowmaster or 3 chamber Flowmaster? I currently have 2 1/4 dual exhuast with headers and I want as much performance as possible without getting a ticket.Any recommendations please, also is a 2 chamber Flowmaster really illegal for the street in California?
