Head swap 302 73 Maverick

Any one ever put a set of World Products Sportsman heads on a 302? They said they would fit, when I got the heads and pulled out the installation instructions, I find that I am to notch the pistons for the bigger valves. Bummer! Called World Products back,they then say 80% will fit with no work. Have a Bracket Master Cam 488 lift ex. and in.
