I just pulled the motor out to prepare new one; no problem. Started to replace upper controll arm bushings and found out that it don't take or have bushings. Two big bolts on ends, two bolts through the shaft go into shock towers. Shock towers are all cracked and busted.Two main cracks on both sides, one missing bolt hole by about an 1/8 inch. Anyone know what I'm talking about. Shock towers welds are noticeable from someones previous work on it, but breaks look much worse.
Wondering about full shock tower cut and weld replacement, but have no clue as what to do but try to reweld it.72 grabber for those who dont know.(VIN# says 72 but date of safety bull@%&! says 10/71 "rickyracer"
