I replaced an Edlebrock F4B intake (exact replica of the cobra design) with a Weiand Stealth, and the power difference was incredible! The Stealth is great. The Stealth (different from Weiand's "Action+" intake) is a brand new design. It has the low-range torgue of the best dual plane but likes to rev too (unlike the Performer). The Cobra intake is a better high RPM intake, but lacks the low-end torque of others. If you can, buy a Stealth or the new Edelbrock "Air-Gap" intake. Both these intakes were designed using computer technology, and are far better designs than their predecessors. If you must choose between the two, choose the performer is you will drive it a lot on the street, the Cobra is you would like to wind it up at the strip every once in awhile. -CP
: I have heard good things about the Weiand Stealth dual plane intake. It is advertised to make power from idle to 6800 RPM. I have one on my new motor, but I haven't driven it yet. I still have work to finish on the car.
