engine timing

I've put an Edelbrock Performer manifold and Holley 600 4bbl carb on my Maverick...we're still working on getting it started and running...what should i set the timing to? of course we took the EGR off and it is a 73 302 w/ auto tranny...the only other mod is dual exhaust...otherwise it is stock...thanks...
