Look very carefully at the torque converter and there should be a letter then a - then numbers.The correct torque converter for Ford small block V8's with the C4 trans. should be F-18, just look at it for the F-18 , if it isn't on the troque converter or if it has something else return the torque converter and ask for an F-18, there shouldn't be any problem with an exchange.Hope this helps, BTW can you post with the results , thanks.Also , what is the diameter of the new flexplate?
