Ford used three different flexplates and two different ballances for the 302. They also used two different bolt patterns for the torque converter for small blocks. The flywheels came in 148t which was unique to the mustang II, 157 which was used in smaller cars like the mustang and maverick an is what your maverick should have, and a 164T that was used in full size cars and trucks. The 164 has a 11 7/16" bolt pattern and the 157T has a 10 1/2" bolt pattern which is what you should have. You also have to make sure that you use the correct block plate for the flexplate that you have because it locates the starter. The flexplate balance is 28 oz in balance for '69 to '80 302s and 50 oz in for 81 up 302s. I hope this helps.
