: Hello , I finally got my car finished and on the road after a 6 month swap (I-6 to a 302).My car is a 70 Maverick , I am using manual disk brakes from a 74 Maverick but unfortunately I had to use one of those hand adjustment valves for my rear brakes.Now here is my complaint, when I stop my pedel is soft and the car kind of bumps along and the pedal has the same motion, almost as if it has anti-lock.Is the after market hand adjustment valve suppose to serve as an anti-lock for the rear brakes along with the ability for me to adjust it? BTW , my car stops just fine as far as distance goes.Any help appreciated
