Thanks, Dan, I found that Duraspark was first offered in 1977. The distributor caps changed in 1975, so I assumed something in the ignition changed. Was "solid-state" the same as Duraspark? Thanks -CP

: Charlie, maybe you could add the fact that 1975 was first year for the 'solid state ignition', now referred mostly as electronic ignition.
