: Yes, if you can get the whole car, there are many things you should get, such as engine crossmember and sway bar, I was hoping it wasn't manual trans, but thanks, I knew I forgot sumthun. -CP

:
: : And if it is a manual transmission, you also need a V-8 bell-crank or "Z-bar"...

: :
: : : You need frame mounts from a V8 car. This is the only "must" requirement, but without V8 springs your car will sit too low. Without a V8 transmission crossmember your exhaust will be comprimised. Without a V8 rearend you may break axles. Along with the 302 you will need a flexplate or flywheel, as the 6-cyl one will not work.

: : : Basically, you should find a V8 Maverick in a junkyard, and transfer springs, mounts, crossmembers, and suspension over. This is the best way to do the swap. -CP

: :
: : : : Could someone tell me what I need to do in order to put a 302v8 into a 1970 6 cyclinder Maverick?

: : : : Thank you in advance.
: : : : Sincerely,

:::Charlie, dose the '70 have the bolt holes in the frame for the engine cross member? Bill
