Some guys on this board have done the swap, they can be more specific, but basically it is a simple bolt in. The 302 mounts are used. The 351W has a taller deck height, which makes it wider, so clearances are tight for the shock-tower area. This makes changing plugs and fitting headers difficult (it'd be easier with a 6-cyl car, because V8's have extra material on the shock towers). -CP
: i read the previous posts about the swap to a 351c. how much atlerations need to be made to swap a 302 for a 351w. bye the way it's a '76 maverick 2 door.
