Fitting Headers ?

I am putting a 302 in a 70' Mav, I'm gonna use headers.I don't have the headers yet.If I put the motor in now will I have a hard time installing the headers later ? Should I just wait until I get the headers ? Also - was thinking about using Hedman headers, anybody used these before?
