It's been 10 years since I replaced the upper A-arm bushings...I forgot that the factory bushings were not greaseable, so that's why the shop cut the holes...

: There are other ways to change upper control arm bushings other than cut holes. There are two bolts that go through the shock tower into the engine compartment, you take those off to change control arm bushings. Once the whole arm is out you can get a wrench on'em and unsrew them and have all kinds of room for them to go. I vote that they are for zerk fittings.
