Old stuff is old. That's it. But old stuff is cheap. New stuff is better but pricey for those just getting by. I would like the new DOHC 5.0 liter but that may never happen. I would also like a six-speed B-W. That may never happen either. But an AOD is definately a possibility. Why? Because it's newer old tech and is moderately cheap for a do-it-yourselfer. Soo....my point is kits are great if you got the money but old tech works great too if you know what your doing.
