I work at at local automotive service centre and am getting ready to put new shackles
on the rear of my car. Looking up trhe parts on the computer, I found that the bushings
change after 1974 and are the same up until 1977. This might explain your problem.
The other thing I noticed is that the computer lists two different shackles:
1. 3 1/2" from hole to hole (centred) and
2. 4" from hole to hole (centred)
It doesn't look good, does it?
