74 Grabber

I have found a 74 Grabber 302, 3 speed on the floor, not in real good shape.Insides are trashed, body is in good shape. I have 2 questions,
I have a 71 Grabber, but the hood on the 74 is different. Is it suppose to be different ??? Is $800. to much to pay for it ???
