if possible get a four wheel aglinment, it'll tel you if the rearend has shifted at all. only takes a minute and can save tires down the line, also keeps you from going down the road sideways

: My 1970 has been wearing out the inside of the edges of the front tires. A friend who owns a repair shop looked at it for me, and told me I needed lower ball joints, which he replaced as a favor. He now recommends a front end alignment. What exactly is involved here, what should I ask for, and what is a decent (fair) price to pay? Any help is appreciated.
