define willing to help you, install or choose, etc.?
: : not really, when it comes to cams and carbs it's always better to start with a "milder" looking one. There is to many influenceing components that will effect the engine's power, ie, valve size, comp., head design, header size and length, trans type, torque conv. size, tire size, gear ratio, car weight, where in the country you are, (weather, altitude), etc. Then there is the "intended" usage. Street use always go smaller or they become a pig. Racing? whole new ball game.
: : Trust me, I've been playing with these things since 71 and it's real easy to build a "dog" that is no fun to drive.
:
: : : just wondering why your recommending such a mild cam...
: : : : and as for a cam, go with something around .460 lift and about 215 degs duration at .050 lift, hyd. type
