...by using a template a Shelby restorer gave me. As I recall, it dropped the a-arm 1" and moved it rearward 1/8". It's an easy modification and makes a tremendous difference in how the car feels. You have to get a camber wedge for the upper ball joint,however, or else the joint will bind and possibly break on a big bump. In fact, you will not be able to get an alignment at many shops if they see it binding;-)
: Has anyone tried lowering the upper control arm on a mav, like the shelby mustangs? Has anyone ever seen a shelby maverick? I have heard that 300 were built by the mexico division of shelby.
