:one of the most common problems on rebuilt trans is the valve body being tighten wrong, this causes it to wrap, then it sucks air, or the filter is on loose. It's on the suction side of the system, if it was on the pressure side you just pump fluid everywhere,
it also could be the pump gasket is pulling in air, but mosy likely the valve body or it would leak out the bellhouing.
You'll probably have to drop the pan a remove the valve body and reinstall it probably.

Well, i dumped my excess tranny fluid, and it's still bubbling, only worse than before. It also started to slip when i put it down to the required amount of tranny fluid...and it still jerks from 1st-2nd.

: Any ideas? The tranny was "rebuilt" by the previous owner (yeah, right).
