This will have to be quick...

I have stock jets for the 4160. 65's.
As far as the float level...take the bowl off carefully, flip it upside down so that the needle seats. Adjust the float to parallel to the bowl. This is a good baseline. After starting and getting up to temp, you should be able to adjust the float level till the fuel level is just up to the bottom of the level screw whole on the side.

The mixture screws? Try 1 1/2 turns out from soft bottom. In other words, screw the mixture screws in till that bottom, but don't tighten down hard. It just has to touch. Then back them out to 1 1/2 turns. Should be in the ball park. :O)

Hope this helps.

: I had rebuilt my Holley for my 302 about 6 months ago but havent used it yet. This weekend I plan on installing it so that I can finally crank my rebuilt motor over to start, but I am not sure where the settings are suppose to be because I lost the paper that had the tuning specs. What should be done to the air/fuel mixture screws? This is a 4160 carb. and the float adjust screws are on top of the bowls but how can I tell if the float is high enough? If the jets are too large what are the symptoms and will performance be affected? Thanks
