I just replaced my starter. Now right after it fires,and is running. I get this ticking/grinding/ringing sound for a few seconds. Its not really loud but noticable. I sounds like the flexplate is hitting the gear on the starter. I'm assuming that the starter gear is not returning to the "at rest" position. I does go away after about 10 seconds or so. Does a starter have a "break in period", or do I need to crawl back under this thing, and try a new one? Russ
