couple big issues to deal with now

the other night i towed my car home on the back of a pickup truck and it destroyed the metal piece that bolts in front of the maverick and behind the grill, does anyone know where i can a replacement piece for the metal one and the plastic black grill in the front of the car?

plus another odd question, underneath the solinoid is a metal box. does anyone know what this box is called and its purpose?
