: the real difference is inside them. The springs are color coded for their tension. Also the port sizes are just a little diferent diameter. It does take much, but there is a diff. remember front disc will do 75% of all your stopping, plus they have different surface area that needs more fluid.

The only thing I can see any differant is the one on the 71 is laid on it's side,where the 74 stood straight up. So do I need to change it ???
