Junction Block???

I put my front disc. brakes on today gentleman, and I have a question.
I got all of my stuff off a 74 Mav. and put it on my 71. I'm down to the master cylinder,and the junction block. I got to looking at the junction block and they are the same block I think. The only thing I can see any differant is the one on the 71 is laid on it's side,where the 74 stood straight up. So do I need to change it ???
