The Maverick and late Pinto/Mustang bolt patern are not the same. Mavericks are 4 on 4 1/2". Late pinto and such are 4 on 4 1/4". Any 8" rear end weather 4 bolt or 5 is the same basic strength save for the amount of clamping force provided by the 5 lugs over the weaker 4. for your application, how about a 5 lug Mav rear and 5 lug converted Mustang II front setup? :)
