Maverick rear end "how wide are they" 54 inch?

I am building a Ford Model A Rod and need a narrow rear end I have been told the 75 Maverick's rear end is 54 inch wide "just what I need"
did other Fords used this narrow rear end? Comet, Falcon?
Is the Maverick four lug pattern the same as the 80's Pinto four lug Patern?
Is a four lug Maveric rear end as strong as the 5 lug? I will be running about 250hp
