I wasn't the one that mentioned the scary ride. Actually the best way is to use a manual adjustable valve and set it to your driving style. Master cylinders are very different also, along with braided steel hoses vice rubber ones. Even tire size, air pressure and tire make up can cause a difference.


: We swapped a set of disk brakes from a '77 Granada onto our '71 Mav. All we did was swap on the disk brake spindles, rotors, and calipers. We didn't change anything else. The brakes work ten times better then the drums. Even after five years of driving and racing. In fact, our Mav. even stops better then some new cars I've driven.
: Maybe it was your driving that scared you, not your brake job!
