Is there a way to do this professionally that won't look like I have stolen a VIN tag? Cheap aluminum rivets are probably not going to cut it here. Those of you who have done this swap, what did you do in the same situation? I just don't want to make it look like I have done something illegal, but I do want to keep the proper VIN.

You can take the car to your motor vehicle department and they can inspect it and put a tag under the hood. The tag actually takes the place of the vin number tag. Then if you should ever recieve any flak you can always open the hood. It works that way in Az., I assume other states have something close to it.
