This is getting kind of interesting. I would appreciate any help on this. I would sure like to know what we have. I do know that it can not be that weird Fairmont 200. My Dad bought our Mav. back in 1972 when it was just a year old. The only non-origional part on the motor is the cyl. head. He replaced it with a rebuilt one about 15 yrs. ago. He is the only one that ever worked on the car. In fact, that was the only major repair that was ever done to the car.
We still have the block plate, so I'll double check it with one of our 302 plates. I'll also go write down the block casting number and post it as soon as I can. Thanks.
