Some other items to think about for your changes.
The F303 has a spec of peak torque at 2800 and HP peak at 6000 rpm. (5L)engine.
With your increase in displacement, these peak figures will go downward probibly several hundred rpm.
Consider that at 3.25 gear, the RPM at say 65 mph would be over 3000 rpm. Possibly a slightly longer cam may be in order.
This will make the car get with the show when you get on it. Need this with an auto trans.
I would consider 1.94 int. valve size and a change that I don't see mentioned at all, that is hardened valve seats
in the old heads. I extensively ported my heads and didnot do the seat job and they pounded out in 5000 miles, and learned the lesson additives in the gas don't work.
Do the build and parts selection with torque in mind and there a pleasure to drive on the street. Think about the stepped header that
Hedmon has for torque increase over a wider rpm range.
A 2400 rpm stall converter in the trans would enhance standing start also.
You will be reaching a point where there's not enough tire on the rear.
Let us know how it turns out.
Ken
