I have a friend that runs a 302 in 2 mavs here in Denver. He has chevy rods in his racer and short pistons. The combo is hot hot hot! He screams in the low 13s @ 6100 feet. That is a pretty good feat. That car would go much faster @ lower altitudes. This way you wouldn't have to restroke the engine and you still get the bennies.
You put all the other stuff on and you would have a nice little machine.
