Anyone else think the 73 Grabber look was kinda stupid? I like the tail and I know the car was like any other Maverick 2 dr. , but the stripe kit and big front bumper and bumper guards just look plain silly. I love the 71-72 Grabber because it still has the better front bumper and the stripes look more like a true muscle car should as well as the awesome hood. One of the best simulated RA hoods of the period(later copied for the 96-98 Cobra). I would like to restore this 73 Grabber to it's orignal condition but find it difficult because I am not convinced by it's looks. It looks like a "wanna-be" muscle car(even though it was no slower than the 71-72's, it sucks!). Anyone think Gremlin when thinking 73 Grabber? BTW, it's red.
I could just get a 71-72 Grabber hood and remove that FUGLY front bumper. But what do you all think about doing the 71-72 grabber hood with 71-72 grabber stripes? Or go original?
