I have had 3 73 Maverick which had all different
bumpers front as well as rear. Check it out my
white car has the 73 bumper with out the guards
and rubber strip. My blue car has the guards and
the funky rubber on them. Which I might ad that
HOT ROD used on the cover of the Mag. Apparently
they HR never shoot cars with these kinds of
bumpers for cover but they did : ) So I guess
they didn't think it was Fugly however I guess the
color on my car was fugly because they changed it
to yellow : ( Lastly the other '73 I had looked
like Ryan's bumpers Guards with out the rubber
strip. So even if you don't change to the early
model ones you still have some sort of choice.
