Take a compression check on that cylinder and compare to some other good cylinder to see if there is a problem with piston/rings brakage.
Next take the valve cover off that bank. Remove intake rocker from bad cylinder. You should find a valve stem seal of some sort. Is it in place,
or just riding up and down with the stem or even missing? Look close in between the coils of the valve spring to see this area. There could be just a rubber hat type seal
that was supposed to slip on over the top of the valve guide so compare with another intake valve/cylinder that is not in trouble. Seal could be hard and brittle.
There are other areas that could cause the cylinder to be getting oil in excess.
Ya got to start looking to find it.
