: one way i found that was just as easy at times(and i've had to do it at the track between races was to crawl under and loosen the motor mounts on the passenger side.then using a prybar and a welkl trusted friend or an engine hoist, lift the side of the engine up so you can work on it. it takes a little longer at times but it avoids the busted nuckle syndrome that goes well with the maverick. i also had a 78 stang II with the same problems
