i know this something everyone has encountered. what is the simplest way to deal with it?
its a 72 V8. i got the right side bank done, but it took some busted knuckles to get it done.
i know the left side is the difficult one. i saved it for this evening cuz its just too damn hot out there, right now.
i have the engine hoist hooks, blocking the inside (5-6?) spark plugs.
the space between plugs and shock towers, is considerably less on the left bank. i also have a heater hose and a couple of AC lines to wrestle with too.
i am also considering removing the vacuum cans, and other junk in that corner. is this stuff important? does the car depend on it for anything useful? if not, id like to just remove it.
the engine compartment in V8 maverick, is too crowded.
arghhhh!!!
what are yall's secret tricks to accessing those spark plugs?
