Mark, I don't have a measurement but the Granada ball joints are the same as a Maverick while the Versailles ball joints are bigger. That is the only difference, if you can locate a Versailles ball joint then the spindles will work, however I've heard it is very difficult.

Try carparts.com or expressautoparts.com or wrenchead.com, they sometime have dimensions when you look up those sorts of parts (you don't have to buy 'em)

: Several ways,
: 1. Call a parts store and see if they have both types in stock, take it down and see which one fits and that'll tell you what you have. Some of the older parts books actually have all the measurements in the back.
: 2. Check the part numbers and see if Ford did use the same spindle. Actually there's three places you have to worry about, both ball joints and he tie rod end.

: What ever you do find out about it, write it sdown for future reference

:
: : I have a pair of spindles that appear to have too large a lower ball joint hole. They were sold to my friend as granada spindles. Does anyone have a measurment of the lower ball joint hole for both versaillies and grananda so we can identify the problem. Is there any other way to tell betweent the two? They are going on a 66 stang. Thanx for the help, I could not find any measurments in the archive.
