Help!!! My Trunk Is Heavy and My Carburator sucks!!

I'm looking for the bar that goes on the trunk lid to make it raise by itself. it attaches to the inside of the trunk and to the lid hinges to make it real light and bouncy. also, i need a new carburator, even though i cant spell it. its a 1969/70 ford maverick. PLEASE HELP!!
