Another toploader question....

I scored a perfectly good toploader today at the junkyard for an amazing sum of $50. Obviously they just thought it was another stantard transmission and I didn't discourage their train of thought. It was just laying on the ground next to a Bronco that I was getting parts off of. Anyway, the number on the tail shaft is as follows:

RF-D7DR-7A040-AA

There is a tag on the front part that goes as follows:

RUG CL LB11
D8UREA 0147

So the question is what was this out of? I didn't know Ford was still making toploaders in the late 70's and I cant remember anything really high performance that it would go in. Any ideas?
