I have a 73 2-door mav that was not run for about three years. This is my first car and I am not familiar with the maintenance as of yet. Whenever I turn the steering wheel there is horrible grinding noise like metal on metal. This is particularly bad when turning left. I dont know if it has to do with the power steering, the steering column, or the axles or what. Any help?
